The study of ocean energy use
Ficek, Jan ; Foral, Štěpán (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The present thesis is focused on the study of the energy potential of the seas and oceans, and research of the current state of the use of this energy transformation into electrical energy.
Meteorology and measurement techniques
Vaňousová, Jana ; Hammer, Jaromír (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis deals with the branch of science called Meteorology. It is connected with measurement techniques, too. Basic terms are defined, structure and classification of atmosphere there are briefly described and furthermore basic meteorologic components are analysed. Finally there is an evaluation of meteorologic data measured unprofessional meteorologic station.
High precision differential thermometer
Sieklik, Ivan ; Wilfert, Otakar (referee) ; Barcík, Peter (advisor)
This work describes the principles of measurements of refractive-index structural parameter. This parameter represent intensity of atmospheric turbulence which is measured by a differential temperature meter. Basic properties of atmospheric transmission environment are specified and their influence on optical wave is stated. Furthermore, this thesis also describes fundamental types of sensors dedicated to temperature measurements. The aim of this work was to create a differential temperature meter which is able to measure the refractive-index structural parameter.
Time lapse travel
Sodomková, Natálie ; Smetana, Matěj (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
Project "Time lapse travel" is simple 2D adventure game, placed in real environment of Vodarensky les near Svitavy. Content is about fairy tales, folklore, time, magic realism and my own personal mythology. My goal is to create a specific atmosphere with stylization of the theme and distinctive visual art style. Whole project is a connection of experiments and digital games together to ask the question if its posssible for the interaction to provide a subjective atmosphere.
Program for the free space optical link power budged calculation
Vaculík, Jakub ; Hudcová, Lucie (referee) ; Křivák, Petr (advisor)
With increasing demands for transit capacity of data networks as well as communication network optical networks seem to be the suitable solution. Light beam is attractive to use for data transmission . Transmitted data can be expressed by means of light impuls.. For execution of the project we need the whole optical telecommunical system which consists of transmitter, transmission link and receiver. The target of transmission link is to transfer optical beam from its resourse to detector with minimal losses. The optical fibre or optical freespace optical link FSO are used for this purpose. Connection to internet by optical fibre is out of reach for most households and plants, it is very expensive and so far it isn´t in the offer of network operators and service providers. (at lest in our condition). But there is still the posibility to obviate optical fibre networks and reach high permeability and safety of communication by means of freespace optical links. It is much easier to implement, but only for short distance. FSO enables quick and even ecological communication which is in the world of more famous radio frequency networks very pleasant message.
Spectral properties of daylight as time-spatial function
Mayer, Jan ; Drápela, Jiří (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
Graduation thesis describes basic data about Sun, suns constant, solar radiation thoroughfare by the earth's atmosphere. Thesis describes effects of components of optical radiation and physical character of solar radiation. Thesis also describes character of day lighting in nature, spectral distribution of natural lighting, average time of sunshine. The next point of thesis is description of measuring equipment Konica Minolta. In chapter measuring procedure is described measuring process of the sky radiance. Measurement analysis is mentioned in conclusion.
Reentry CubeSat
Kopecký, Matěj ; Daněk, Vladimír (referee) ; Zikmund, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the analysis of the re-entry of the miniature CubeSat satellite from lower orbit. In the opening section, it is explained how re-entry process works, what bodies are typically used and the possibilities for protecting them from atmospheric resistance. The thesis is also focused on the mentioned group of CubeSat satellites and defines them according to general requirements. Using the knowledge learned from the opening section, a theoretical introduction to the preliminary analysis of the re-entry of the CubeSat satellite was put together, followed by a sample calculation. Here, it is explained how the CubeSat moves as it descends throughout the atmosphere and what parameters it needs to meet in order to make the re-entry.
Meteo Probe for the Measurement of Basic Atmospheric Quantities
Pumr, Martin ; Vlk, Jan (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the problematics on basic atmosphere sounding. Its content is a study of the physical properties of the atmosphere. Based on these findings, the design and implementation of a specimen meteorological probe and ground receiving station are carried out. The meteorological probe records atmospheric data at regular intervals and stores them in CSV format. The probe continuously reports information about its position, and after completion of the measurement sends all measured data to the ground receiving station, where data evaluation and further processing takes place.
Analysis of selected variations of the gravity due to the mass dynamics
Volařík, Tomáš ; Lederer,, Martin (referee) ; Vatrt, Viliam (referee) ; Mojzeš,, Marcel (referee) ; Weigel, Josef (advisor)
This dissertation is focused on a study of selected environmental effects influencing terrestrial gravity observations. Global geopotential models were used to compute quantities of the disturbing gravity field and its variations during time period. Furthermore, analyses of an atmospherical and hydrological effects on the gravity observations were provided. The computation was realized at the station Pecný, however the concept was proved and compared with data from station Strasbourg. Consequently, the results were discussed with respect to quasigeoid modelling established from gravity and astrogeodetic measurements. The result and recommendations for future research are exposed.
The Design of Stratospheric Probe and Flight Simulator
Lindtner, David ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the stratospheric probe as a device for measuring the parameters of higher layers of the atmosphere. The influence of different parameters on the resulting flight profile is shown in the simulations. On the base of real meteorological probes flights the model of atmosphere is verified and is used to estimate the landing point of our probe. The work emphasizes the design of key probe components such as communication devices, battery sources and sensors. At the end of the thesis, the data from the real flight of our probe are displayed and evaluated.
